Chair John Elsbree has announced the agenda for the November membership meeting, which was rescheduled for Wednesday 11/14 at the Northwest Arts Center, 9825 NE 24th St., Bellevue. The Board rescheduled the meeting from the regular 3rd Wednesday to avoid meeting on the night before Thanksgiving.

King County Democrats Legislative Action Committee meets 2:00 Sunday 11/18 at the Kingsgate Library in Kirkland. Agenda is a presentation on issues before the next state legislative session, by Sen. Ed Murray, Speaker Frank Chopp, and Rep. Ross Hunter. The LAC meetings are open to all interested parties (although Virginia Rogalsky is the voting member from the 48LD). Participanes track progress of bills they are interested in and provide input. The December meeting will be at a location to be announced in Renton featuring Speaker Chopp.
Newly elected PCOs for 2013-2014 take office 12/1/2012 and are eligible to vote in the King County Democrats annual reorganizational meeting at 8:30 AM on Saturday 12/8/2012 at the Machinists Hall in Tukwila. You will receive a formal announcement from the KCDCC.
