Move Redmond: Marymoor Village Walk and Talk

October 6 @ 4:30 pm

Move Redmond advocates for better walking, biking and transit in Redmond.

When: Wednesday, October 6th from 4:30-6:00 PM

 East Sammamish River Trailhead [Map]

The Overlake Village Light Rail stop is set to open in 2023. This stop will connect thousands of commuters along the Eastside, with a train coming every 8 minutes. We will explore how it feels to access the new light rail station and the surrounding neighborhood by walking or rolling. By centering the experience of people we will create recommendations for safer streets and better access to transit. This is an in-person event!
Who should join: Do you walk, roll, or use public transit around Redmond? Then this event is for you! We are looking for your feedback and input!
Accessibility: We will walk about a half-mile. Please wear comfortable clothes, and be prepared
for changeable weather (umbrella, sunglasses, etc.).  If you have other accessibility needs please email and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
*Covid-19 Precautions: While masks are not required outdoors, we do encourage people to wear a mask to support our most vulnerable community members. We will have hand sanitizer to give out to all attendees and additional masks if you need one.

The next Walk and Talk will be held near Marymoor Village on October 6th at 4:40! We will meet at the East Lake Sammamish Trailhead (access the northern end of the trail is off NE 70th St. in Redmond, near the east end of Marymoor Park). Please RSVP here. Please sign up for our Action Alert if you want to stay updated on our upcoming events and action items.
