LD 48 Democrats Internship Program

The WA Democrats Legislative District – 48 are seeking enthusiastic, politically minded, future leaders for our summer 2021 internship program.

The program will run from July 1st to August 31, and will be conducted mostly remotely due to the
ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The deadline for applications is June 27 at 5 pm. Housing / transportation is not provided.

Interning at the LD-48 is a unique opportunity for hardworking, passionate future leaders to gain real
life, hands-on experience in democratic politics, strengthen their understanding of the political process, and prepare them for future political opportunities

In addition to typical intern duties with various committees, you will have the chance to volunteer in
grassroots organizing, assist at LD-48 functions, receive personal development training, and network
with LD-48 leadership. Each Committee and function offer you a unique learning experience.
